This photo isn’t the best quality photo—and I’m very excited to get a hold of those photos!—but this one is one of the most special from the coronation.
Kevin wasn’t even supposed to dance with me until after all the festivities, but instead of my cousin Jay (my escort) dancing with me, Kevin cut in so we can dance together.
The way we danced was awkward due to the dress, but the way he looked into my eyes I’ll never forget. He looked into my eyes as if there were nobody else in the room besides us two. He could have gone without saying a single word, and I would have known that he loves me more than anyone else in the world. But in the midst of it all, he did tell me something; he told me I want to be with you. Nothing more and nothing less. But that he wants to be with me. And nobody else out there. I truly and undoubtedly wanted to kiss him and forget that there were people surrounding us. It felt like a wedding with the dress I was wearing and all the attention I was receiving. But I didn’t care about what anyone else thought. All that mattered was the way he looked at me as if I were the most beautiful and amazing being in the world, the way he showed he loved me, and the way it felt knowing that this wonderful guy is all mine and I’m all his.
